School Computer Science and Multimedia laboratory Furniture
While designing the school computer science and multimedia lab furniture, the first thing to weigh in on and consider would be the dimensions of the lab, electrical, and internet lines. It is important to note if the available lab space abides by the guidelines set by the affiliation body the school adheres to (e.g., CBSE). Next, it is important to confirm the compliance of the infrastructure with the safety guidelines set by the respective governing body. The second factor to be ascertained is the student batch strength. These two factors will help us determine the basic layout and structure of the lab.
In the basic computer science laboratory, an individual workspace is provided for each student with a keyboard tray and a CPU stand with lockable wheels. A covered circular hole is provided on the tabletop to route the wires. An electrical connection with a 16-amp socket and switch is provided. A side cover divides the workspace among each student. Now, multimedia practicals can be conducted by adding a headphone with a stand. An additional audio socket and a smart and interactive keyboard can be provided. With this addition, the language lab practical can also be conducted in the same lab.
